Our natural swimming pool and indoor pool are open for you every day from 7.30 am, and you can use our fitness facilities from 7.00 am! You can also enjoy our varied sauna experience – daily from 11.00 am!
All amenities of the AlmSPA are available to you until 9.00 pm.
Treat yourself to a massage – the SPA menu will inform you about the wide range of treatments available. Make an appointment at the hotel reception.
Try our new hydrojet water massage: in full clothing, without showering and without getting wet! Warm jets of water hit the underside of the natural rubber lounger in an arching, even movement and massage your body.
Pampering time: 20 minutes for € 15 (tickets available at reception)
Arrival / Departure
The rooms are available to our guests from 14:00 and on Sundays and public holidays from 15:00, which is why we ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 on the day of departure.
With our SPA early check-in, you can relax in our AlmSPA before you move into your room, or you can end your day of departure in our wellness area with the SPA late check-out for € 9/person. Bathrobe and towels are of course included.
Postcards
Postcards and stamps are available at reception. We are also happy to take your cards and letters to the post office.
Medical care
In addition to the general practitioners in Zwettl and the surrounding area, our state-of-the-art hospital is also available for emergency admissions at any time.

Bathrobes are available to you free of charge throughout your stay.
The New Waldviertel Cuisine / Restaurant
Breakfast buffet: from 7.00 am to 10.00 am (until 10.30 am on Sundays and public holidays)
Lunch: from 11.45 am to 1.45 pm
Dinner: from 6.00 to 8.00 pm
If you’re hungry in between meals, you can enjoy something savoury or sweet from our snack menu in the restaurant from 1.45 to 5.00 pm.
From 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm, the restaurant and terrace are closed due to preparations for dinner!
Electricity
All rooms are equipped with 230 volt power connections. Austrian safety regulations prohibit the use of unearthed appliances. The use of irons, electric blankets or cooking appliances in hotel rooms is strictly prohibited! Thank you for your understanding!
Please note that all power connections only work when the room card is inserted.
Bike hire
During the summer months, you can hire e-bikes for full or half-day tours through the beautiful Waldviertel region for a fee at reception. Free bike map included, of course.
Fire extinguishers / escape routes
There are signposted fire extinguishers on every floor. Please also observe the fire hazard notices and escape routes in your room!
Leisure time
There is a lot to discover in the granite district between Wachau and Budweis. In addition to cultural offers and excursion tips, the unmistakable nature plays the main role.
You can obtain free maps for your hike or bike tour from reception. Nordic walking poles are also available for hire free of charge.
Hairdresser
A selection of hairdressers is available directly in the town of Zwettl. We will be happy to arrange an appointment for you.

All found items are stored by our housekeeping team. Please ask at the reception desk.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed on a lead in the hotel and restaurant area, with the exception of the SPA and sunbathing area. If you leave your four-legged friend alone in your room, please use the “Do not disturb” sign – this will also prevent the cleaning ladies from entering your room for safety reasons. There is a cleaning charge of € 16,- per night if you stay in the room. More about holidays with dogs at the Schwarz Alm.

Children
Children are happiest among children and can let off steam undisturbed on our play area.

For the small thirst and hunger in every room. Billing takes place via reception.
Do not disturb
If you do not wish to be disturbed, hang the “Do not disturb” sign on the outside of your room door and inform reception if and for how long you do not wish to receive calls.
Emergency exits
There is a sign on your room door indicating the nearest emergency exit. Please call reception in an emergency.

Would you like information, help, information or to order a wake-up call? Our reception is there for you from 6.30 am to 9.30 pm. The reception team will be happy to provide you with all the information you need, as well as tips for excursions and travelling.

We recommend storing your cash and valuables in your room safe in the wardrobe.

If you are planning a longer evening out, please do not forget your room key card, as this also locks the hotel entrance.

Hiking map
Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the hotel into the beautiful Kamptal. Maps are available free of charge at reception and the trails are all signposted in front of the hotel entrance.

Please inform reception of your room number and desired wake-up time.
Newspapers
Daily newspapers and magazines are available in the restaurant. We will also be happy to organise your personal daily newspaper for you.
Room bill
You are welcome to have all your consumptions during your stay charged to your room bill. Please do not forget to sign the receipt.
